Testing With Chrome

To get chrome to trust your test SSL certificates on Windows7 you have to add the issuing CA certificates to your system security store. To do that you need the cert as a file. This is easy from Firefox.

Click lock icon at left of url bar > More Information > Security > View Certificate > Details > Export

Once you've got the cert you have to import it to the OS.

Start > mmc
File > Add/Remove Snap-in > Certificates > Add > My user account > Finish > Ok
Certificates > [right-click] Trusted Root Certification Authorities store > All Tasks > Import
> Next > Browse > Next > Next > Finish > Yes > Ok
