Frontenac: Cluster 2, Sites A and B

Frontenac Provincial Park

Mike & Amanda, Riz & Sabrina, Lenko & Renita.
Site Map, Site Description, My Advice.

Called on March 22nd at 7:07pm. Clusters 4, 3 and 6 were already booked, so booked Cluster 2 (same as last year).

I think Doe Lake is underrated. It's easy to book; easy to get to, by hike or canoe; has a nice lake with two loons and a giant turtle; has interesting hiking nearby; has lots of snakes, and a marsh nearby filled with interesting stuff. And with just three sites, it's relatively isolated.

This year we hiked in. We only stayed two days, so there wasn't much weight in food. I had a great time. As always, we had perfect weather, although it did threaten to storm while we broke camp. In addition to hiking our gear in and out, I went on a long ~15k? hike with Lenko and Renita on the second day, and couldn't walk right for days after the trip. Must get back into shape.
