Stratford Year 7
Wednesday August 18th Direct from work, we drove to Bobcaygeon and dropped off Pilot with Amanda's Parents. We were listening to the "Predictably Irrational" audio book as we drove, which I really liked.
Thursday August 19th This morning we drove to Stratford and checked in at Swan Avon B&B. They're nice people and they're in a great location. I highly recommend it. We had lunch at "Pearl Sushi", which isn't very high-end, but I love, and saw "Titus Andronicus" at the Tom Patterson Theatre. They sure didn't skimp on the gore, which I thought was a bit mush, but overall, I'd say it was a very good production.
Friday August 20th We had lunch at "Let Them Eat Cake" and saw "The Grapes Of Wrath" at the Avon Theatre. Very sad. I'm not a big fan of most productions at the Avon, but this was very good. We had dinner at "Molly Blooms" and watched an episode of "The Tudors" and if you can believe it "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" on the iPad before bed.
Saturday August 21st We walked around town, had lunch at "York Street Kitchen", shopped, had dinner at "Taj" and saw "The Merry Wives Of Windsor" at The Festival Theatre in the evening. It was fantastic. Sunday morning we drove back to Bobcaygeon, picked up Pilot and drove back to Ottawa.
