The Cold Pale Moon

Nothing moves under the cold pale moon, not wind nor man nor mouse.

Nothing dares to break the silence, that's as thick and smooth as ice.

The deafening silence as strong as steel, blinds eyes and quiets hearts.

Tears of flame and shattering bone and shimmering frozen darts;

burn the fire and kill the pain and drown the flood of tears.

Aside the burning stone under the cold pale moon, all there is is terrible fear.
